You'll provide technology services to our frontline employees and our 40+ million guests flying worldwide. **Role Summary** The ITS Security Governance Manager acts as a subject matter expert in understanding vulnerability risk within Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgment to identify, assess, triage, and establish remediation timelines for vulnerabilities across the Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air technology environment. **Key Duties** + Acts as a subject matter expert in understanding vulnerability risk within Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. + Designs, implements, and manages information security programs, initiatives, and projects which safeguard Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air’s systems and employee, customer, and partner data from compromise by minimizing vulnerabilities and risk. + Partners with ITS and cross-functional business units to strategically manage IT security risk and to resolve issues. + Drives continuous process and technology improvements, while also helping to resolve day-to-day issues. + Ensures customer expectations + Delivers program management expertise, including program performance lifecycle, metrics & KPIs, and customer relationship management for vulnerability management and security risk remediation initiatives. + Leads penetration testing activities with internal teams and external pent test partners. + Documents processes, issues, decisions, and recommendations in support of strategies and business presentations. + Manages work in support of PCI-DSS, SOX, and other compliance audits. **Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills** **Required** + A minimum of 4 years of information technology security or related experience. + A Bachelor’s degree, with a focus in computer science, systems engineering, information technology, management information systems, or a related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree. + Knowledge of various enterprise security and IT management frameworks and standards. + Minimum age of 18. + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **Preferred** + Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, or Tenable. + Working knowledge of and exposure to PCI-DSS, SOX, and other compliance audits. + Information security professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, and/or GIAC). + Experience with Continuous Attack Path Analysis tools. + Ability to work cross-functionally and establish relationships with different levels of management and others of varying skill sets. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to analyze, organize, and simplify complex problems to develop practical solutions. + High level of analytical ability where problems may be unusual or difficult. + Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills. + Excellent attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and to self-motivate and follow-through on projects. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook). + Experience developing and refining business and technical operational processes. **Job-Specific Leadership Expectations** Embody our values to own safety, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance, and be remarkable. **Equal Employment Opportunity** Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines are equal opportunity employers.
