ROLE PURPOSE:

 

The SAP S/4 HANA Treasury Solutions Expert is responsible for leading the implementation of treasury and treasury related systems across relevant Al Futtaim entities. The role will work closely with AFG Treasury and Finance professionals in implementing SAP Treasury and risk management solutions to satisfy their requirements.

 

There will be a strong emphasis on translating business requirements into functional requirements using technology as a key enabler. Although the primary focus of the role will be on treasury solutions there is an expectation that the SAP Treasury Specialist will identify integration points with the wider finance and business function to ensure that interdependencies are identified and considered when developing and implementing treasury solutions

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Solution Management

  • Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
  • Lead the organisation in exploiting technology and use knowledge of IT solutions to drive organisational change and support business process design improvements.
  • Drive adoption of standard solutions across companies and geographies and minimise bespoke developments.
  • Understand and support to software architecture design and support development team in developing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT Policies, Security Standards and strengthen internal controls. Identify and manage key risks in your solution domain.
  • Participate in RFI & RFP processes for sourcing software services and solutions for the business.
  • Support in building TCO and business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build a lean, skilled and fully engaged team; working with them to plan and prioritise their workloads.
  • Develop team in line with target competencies
  • Promote and fast-track your talent within EIT

 

Other Key Responsibilities

  • To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics and avoid any escalations.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the solution demand & delivery practices, procedures, methodologies and tools through identification of and participation in improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

 

PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT:

 

Education:

College or University degree in Finance/Accounting/IT or a related discipline

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • Minimum of (5) years of experience in the design, configuration, testing, debugging, delivery and support of SAP Treasury and Risk management processes, and full SAP project life cycles of significant size, scope and complexity
  • Intermediate to in-depth knowledge of SAP Finance is essential
  • SAP Finance certification will be a plus
  • Functional Expertise for SAP Treasury Solutions as below:
    • SAP Treasury and Risk Management (SAP – TRM)
    • SAP In-House Cash (SAP – IHC)
    • SAP Bank Communication Management (SAP – BCM)
    • SAP Cash Management (SAP – CM)

 

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

  • Experience in end to end implementations of SAP Treasury Solution and integrate the same with SAP Finance ERP
  • The candidate should have expert functional and configuration knowledge in SAP S4 HANA solutions  related to SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), In-House Cash (IHC), Bank Communication Management (BCM) and Cash Management (CM)
  • In-depth working knowledge in Green field implementation, Roll-outs, Upgrades, Data Migration related to SAP Treasury Solutions mentioned above
  • Understand the business requirements and translate it into functional and technical specifications
  • Experience in designing and deploying Transaction Manager (incl. Money Market, Facilities and Loans, FX, Derivatives, Trade Finance -Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees), Risk Analyser (Credit Risk Analyser and Market Risk Analyser), Exposure Management and Hedge Management
  • Experience in designing and deploying Cash Pooling and Netting Solution and Central Payment Factory
  • Experience in designing and deploying solutions for various payments channels such as SWIFT and Host to Host Payments
  • Experience in designing and deploying reporting solution in Treasury function for limit utilisation reporting, facility utilisation reporting and exposure reporting
  • Understand dependency between SAP Treasury Solution and Integration with other SAP modules i.e. SAP Finance and Controlling and external applications such as SWIFT Service Bureau / SWIFT Network and Trade Finance solution
  • Strong business process knowledge in Treasury function where the functional organisation is divided into Front-Office, Middle-Office and Back Office
  • Proficient in design, deliver and manage the customized ABAP solutions (incl. custom reports) and interfaces with 3rd party systems.
  • Experience in conducting Super User and End User Trainings
  • Experience in creating and publishing end user training manuals
  • Good understanding in authorisation controls related to SAP Treasury solution
