- The Infrastructure Lead position is a member of the Revenue and Planning Technology team within the Information Technology Division and is responsible for developing and supporting multiple applications used by the Revenue Management and Network Planning business units.
- As a leader of this agile team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with internal customers, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, developers and other Enterprise teams to understand requirements and development needs while gaining valuable experience and skills.

- Lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers to create detailed project specifications, requirements, estimates and ensures tasks/projects are completed on time and within scope
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using DevOps tools
- Define standards for configuration, monitoring, reliability and performance
- Support the development of IaC standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines
- Design and implement innovations that improve team velocity, resiliency, security and data availability
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to identify and implement solutions
- Research and implement new technology to enhance current processes, security and performance
- Facilitate achievement of expected deliverables and obligations of Services Providers
- Includes off hour work to perform changes after hours and provide on-call production support (24 x 7 x 365), as required
- Take on project-related or ad-hoc jobs that sometimes fall outside of the above definition

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure, Automation, DevOps engineer
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure, Automation, DevOps engineer
- Airline industry experience is a plus
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Advanced ability to plan strategically for current and future business environments, including future technology and business design changes to create flexible, scalable solutions
- In-depth knowledge of IT business operations, systems requirements, and processes
- Demonstrated experience in the following:
- Design, development and delivery of cloud-native applications using in Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud and/or AWS
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Python, Ksh/BASH, PowerShell, Puppet/Chef/Ansible
- DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium and Jmeter
- Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- Database and persistence layers such as Oracle, SqlServer, PostgreSql, NoSql, Object Storage
- Server and Application Monitoring using Dynatrace, LogDNA and SysDig
- TCP/IP networks and working knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, etc.
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8 and Windows (2012/2016) Server Administration
- Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
- Use sound judgment and willingness to exercise same in sometimes ambiguous situations
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or work arounds
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
- Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices
- Knowledge and experience in developing and delivering software using agile methodologies
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Proficiency in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents using Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
