This job is a member of the Operations Planning Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for driving change throughout all parts of the operation resulting in overall improvement to the airlines reliability.
Specifically, you'll do the following:
- Assists in hypothesis development for root cause analysis related to reliability performance
- Works collaboratively with hubs, region and functional group (maintenance, customer experience, cargo, etc.) leadership to develop and implement initiatives for continuous improvement
- Creates and develops system to manage and track initiative progress across many groups; builds influence to drive initiatives to completion and spur incremental improvement
- Key contributor to AYR and American Eagle Operations Analysis meetings
- Coordinates with Network Planning to assist with schedule improvement initiatives to drive operational reliability (spare gates, spare AC, overnight maintenance time/locations, crew turns, etc.) where appropriate
- Coordinates implementation of corporate initiatives with American Eagle where appropriate
- Assists with project management of Decision Support and OR initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field or equivalent related experience/training
- Related job experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence across levels within the organization

- Experience in airline operations or operations analysis
