  • Analysts are responsible for developing, analyzing, forecasting and executing on the Cargo & Airport Excellence division’s business plans, building and implementing relationships with internal and external partners, identifying specific revenue driving and cost savings opportunities, and providing thought leadership
  • The role is a part of the Products, Partnerships, and Business Planning team within our Cargo & Airport Excellence group

What you'll do

  • Leads the planning and development for the division’s strategic initiatives, business plans, and relationships with internal and external partners to ultimately drive long term growth for Cargo and Airports
  • Identifies current and future partner opportunities, compiling and presenting cross-functional impacts, aligning and prioritizing with business owners, finance and IT counterparts, and monitors the status outcomes
  • Develops the business cases and high-level financial analyses for emerging initiatives and opportunities, taking into consideration not only AA’s network but partner OA network as well
  • Monitors and provides updates to senior leadership 
  • Works closely with operations to ensure infrastructure is prepared for future growth
  • Manages ad hoc projects as required – ranging from small requests to multi-year projects
  • Interfaces cross-functionally with all Cargo & Airport Excellence departments to support business development
  • Communicates with internal and external customers to better understand their needs
  • Maintains a nuanced opinion of current dynamics in the airline and cargo markets

All you'll need for success

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor's degree 
    • 3 years of experience in airline, consulting work, or equivalent industries
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Graduate degree
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to prioritize and navigate projects among competing priorities, both within and outside one's own organization

    • Effective collaborator both across and outside the organization at all levels

    • Self-starter who solicits input from several sources
