- This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
- Responsible for administration of efficient, accurate and timely processing of various types of monthly auditing and reporting of ticket sales and billings.
What you'll do
- Supervises 3-4 team members
- Monitors daily activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Reviews journal entries, revenue accounting system processes, and other department activities to ensure adherence to company policy, US GAAP and SOX
- Coordinates audit requests related to internal and external audits and assists with follow up questions
- Proactively identifies and resolves issues related to day-to-day activities with little management oversight
- Proactively communicates to management and team members regarding problems, solutions, and company/department administrative updates
- Ensures productivity standards and team member development opportunities are achieved through providing team member coaching and counseling, including conducting Performance Conversations
- Oversees and maintains department procedures
- Oversees onboarding and training of new hires
- Participates and leads in special projects
- Completes ad-hoc analysis and presentations
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent accounting training/experience
- Strong sales accounting and revenue recognition experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
- Strong project management experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Sabre
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with internal accounting controls (automated and manual)
- Experience supervising or leading a team
- Experience in large accounting firm or public company environment
- CPA or working towards CPA

- Ability to proactively identify problems and implement solutions under pressure and in a timely manner with little to no supervision
