About the Role:

Lead digital projects both online and offline to make IKEA more accessible digitally across all the customer meeting points aligned with customer journey map and digital road map of IKEA.  Coordinates with team and leads execution of projects by implementing innovative and cost-effective solution leveraging latest technology. Lead digital projects efficiently by meeting deadlines and business goals in agile way aligning with IKEA values.
 

Description of the Accountability:

  • Lead the high quality execution and delivery of digital projects within defined scope.
  • Adhere to technology governance policies and processes. 
  • Lead and coordinate in project scoping, vendor evaluation, estimating, implementing, quality checking and delivering.
  • Demonstrates innovation and solutioning using combination of Customer experience mapping and technical engineering knowledge including Web/Mobile/Kiosk architecture, DevOps and Cloud.
  • Be responsible for the User experience(UX) and Customer Experience (CX) of digital projects to make sure high customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to derive personalization and other new components to enhance UX/CX including online content(web/mobile app / kiosk).
  • Ability to apply agile analysis techniques for creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to demonstrates strong IKEA leadership skills, by using sound judgments to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Challenge the current way of working and help find better solutions with simplicity and highest quality at lowest cost in mind.

Previous Experience and proven Skills:  

  • Proven experience of previous role in areas of Digital optimization, UX.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse experience in digital optimization.
  • Demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up.
  • Hands on experience in working with tools like Figma, Adobe XD etc.
  • Strong experience in UX by delivering products / features with UX process that covers user research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping and testing.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of the needs of customers or clients (internal or external).
  • Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong team working and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of IKEA Brand, culture, values and way of working.
  • Prioritization and decision-making skills

 

Knowledge:  

  • University degree in software, marketing and/or digital development.
  • Knowledge about digital technologies and applications (e.g. search, social, mobile, Ecommerce, agile development, web design, kiosks).
  • Knowledge in various agile project management tools like Jira.
  • Strong knowledge in UX by delivering products / features with UX process that covers user research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping and testing. 
  • Good design thinking skills which provides a solution-based approach to solving problems user centric. Understand the user challenges and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions. 
  • Good logical and analytical thinking.
  • Solid knowledge of Growing IKEA Together and IKEA Way of Working.
  • Understanding of all aspects of the IKEA multichannel customer experience in relation to relevant market and customer trends.
  • Diverse leadership experiences in various situations.
  • Experience in stakeholder and change management.
  • Good written & spoken English

  • Coordinate offline digital projects (in-store kiosks).
  • Secure a strong and continuous relationship with major vendors, platform providers and Al Futtaim Retail.
  • Maintain a relevant cross cooperation between IKEA Group of Companies.
  • Secure to follow the IKEA concept and IKEA mandatories
