Regional Operations Manager – Rental, Abu Dhabi

 

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the rental business in the Abu Dhabi Region. The job holder’s primary focus will be to oversee and further develop the rental network, assist customer service teams in the branches, improve customer and employee engagement as well as lead all business development initiatives in the area. The ideal candidate will have proven record successfully leading customer service/sales or operations functions with relevant local market experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

 

 

Key Accountabilities


•    Participate in the development of business plans, strategies and objectives specific to the region.
•    Achieve the revenue target for the assigned region through optimized reservation and walk-in business at each branch
•    Support the Head of Rental in budget and fleet planning for the region
•    Explore sales opportunities outside the Branches by targeting Government Institutions, Schools/Universities and Corporate clients.
•    Ensure timely implementation of all strategies and adherence to all Policies and Procedures.
•    Present operating results of the Branch to the Department Head and take appropriate measures to correct variances with established objectives.
•    Build relationship with relevant authorities (such as AUH Airport and other government entities) and be the first point of contact to represent the business. 
•    Position fleet for maximum revenue growth and the most efficient utilization.
•    Coordinate with the Marketing Department to obtain the required information about competitors.
•    Evaluate performance of all subordinates for compliance with established policies and objectives of the Company and contributions in attaining it.
•    Appraises all employees and nominate for different training programs.

 

Requirements & Qualification:


•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
•    At least 5 years of experience in Customer Service / Sales / Operations role out of which 3 years have been as a Manager / Supervisor looking after a team of 10 or more associates
•    Strong analytical skills with ability to convert daily sales performance into actionable insights
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint user
•    Understanding of the Abu Dhabi market and previous experience in the region will be an added advantage
•    UAE Driving License.
