  • ​Responsible for department analytics, policy and procedures, process improvement, system testing, quality review and projects at American Airlines Credit Union.

What you'll do

  • Creates and maintains Deposit & Statements analytics and statistics
  • Maintains and updates Deposit & Statements policies and procedures
  • Maintains, updates and tests the core system processes
  • Assists with projects related to process improvement and strategic initiatives
  • Provides tax withholding balancing and preparation of annual tax returns
  • TRACKERPRO ongoing software updates
  • Assists with annual projects: Bonus Dividends, TIN/Name Matching, Tax reporting
  • Assists with department training
  • Leads or provides backup for Department Manager
  • Provides follow-up documentation or information requested
  • Assists with escalated member issues
  • Assists with rate and fee changes
  • Performs quality review of MSR share and IRA transactions
  • Cross-trains on all department functions
  • Performs other duties, as assigned
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
  • Ensures the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Experience and knowledge of systems: Episys, Excel-Intermediate/Advanced

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and effectively implement change when needed
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff and work closely with multiple departments
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
  • Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified
