KEY Job  Purpose:

To assist the team in producing industry best practice events execution. The type of events include but are not limited to; retailer launches and events, key mall campaign events, partner events, CSR & government, special launches and special projects. The person will fully support the event manager in leading the events strategy and partnerships for the centre whilst also being responsible for the operational logistics for each event. The event executive will also be involved with the overarching marketing plan, working with the full DFC marketing team to deliver a successful program for DFC.

BRAND

Website Content

  • Assist Digital Manager with collecting and updating retailer content for all digital platforms.

 

Festival Rewards

  • Drive comms and activations related to Festival Rewards

 

COMMUNICATIONS

Retailers

  • Lead marketing relationship with all tenants.
  • Conduct annual events with tenants and manage regular communications via newsletters and surveys.

Campaigns/Promotions

  • Project management of campaigns assigned from concept to execution.
  • Support Events Manager for on ground activities during all annual campaigns.

Campaign evaluation and reporting on a timely basis.

 

PR

  • Manage retailer related announcements and messages with PR agency.

 

Social Media

  • Managing content for digital platforms provided by tenants together with Digital Manager.

 

 

FINANCE

Invoicing

  • Ensuring all projects completed are billed accurately and on time to be processed by Marketing Administrator.

Budgets

  • Managing campaign budgets and identifying savings where applicable.

Policies & Procedures

Assist in preparing of specialty leasing forms where related to marketing events.

 

RESEARCH

  • Conduct monthly competitor reviews on campaigns, services and global best practices.

 

JOB CONTEXT:

  • Maintaining Relationship: 3rd Parties/Suppliers/Government Entities
  • Handle event enquiries and ensure BTL/ATL exposure is provided by team
  • Application of government permits
  • Preparation and ownership of event reports and administrative tasks are in compliance with audit

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Diploma in Marketing or/ Events with 3-4 years in a well-established events management company, Mall or retailer in Europe or UAE
  • Retailer or Mall experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of local marketing in terms of events/festivals/ded/dtcm/suppliers/agencies and companies engaged in events management
