Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

 

Reporting Line: Group Head of Talent Acquisition

 

Division: Al-Futtaim Group - Talent Acquisition Department

 

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

 

 

Job Purpose:

  • To manage the entire end to end recruitment process through their team, effectively developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies whilst providing solutions in partnership with brand and in alignment with the divisional growth plans.  Responsible for all Senior level recruitment across both Retail and Automotive

 

 

Job Accountabilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Brand Strategy

    • Work closely with Business Heads, GMHR and COE heads to source the right talent
    • Ensure the completion of Hiring and Acquisition plans for the assigned Division(s)
    • Drive end-to-end talent acquisition cycle in line with business growth plans and aspirations
    • Ensure compliance with relevant operational and people risk controls, and employment legislation
    • Constantly explore, develop and review sourcing strategies and channels to support business growth
    • Identify future business needs by keeping updated of current trends thereby creating a pool of future-fit talents
    • Responsible for successful completion of all senior level recruitment

 

  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate and consult with business leaders and hiring managers on tactical recruitment plans designed to meet their business objectives through the acquisition of talent for the assigned division (s) - UAE and Regionally
    • Ensure regular performance review with stakeholders to ensure talent acquisition strategy is efficiently managed
    • Build and manage relationships with other departments; Employee Services, Learning & Development and Total Reward to ensure integration and alignment with HR strategy
    • Provide a full consultative service to Business Heads with regards to the talent acquisition process and strategy and market trends
    • Support TA senior management with senior recruitment through developing network and external channels

 

  • Manpower planning and forecasting
    • Manpower planning and management with HRBP and line managers
    • Drive a proactive fulfilment of manpower business requirements through developing extensive network in the market.
    • Manage the utilisation of  external agencies to control recruitment spending

 

  • Internal Talent Acquisition
    • Promote internal talent acquisition strategies within assigned division(s)

 

  • Analysis and Reporting
    • Review talent acquisition performance and strategy with divisional heads
    • Encourage continuous improvement through regular review of metrics and SLAs with TA senior management
    • Provide regular high level updates to  Head of Group Talent Acquisition and senior leaders on talent acquisition strategy for the assigned division

 

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and Manage internal TA staff ensuring the right learning and development opportunities are provided to the team
    • Set robust & realistic objectives to support the growth of individuals on the TA team
    • Ensure high engagement level within the team
    • Provide training and coaching to the team around internal standards and procedures, strategy and e-recruitment
    • Ensure the team manages an end to end sourcing & selection process, providing a consultative approach to the business
    • Develop internal capabilities and ensure the team are able to source the right fit for the business requirement
    • Ensure team is up to date with government regulations around talent acquisition

 

 

Education:

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma or Master’s degree an advantage

 

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • 7+ years of recruitment experience preferred with supervisory / managerial experience of 2+ years preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulations
  • Previous experience managing talent acquisition strategy and processes
  • Previous management experience, coaching, mentoring and engagement capabilities preferred
