Job Requirements:

– Significant and relevant working experience serving as an advisor in a regulated market (financial services, public sector, energy, education, heathcare, service provider).
– Bachelor’s Degree in related area of study.

Job Description:
– Serve as regulatory expert to AWS and its customers by obtaining and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of local regulatory requirements and their applicability to AWS.
– Conduct frequent reviews of new legislation to determine if/how it impacts AWS customers and their processes and systems in different verticals and geographies.
– Engage with the regulatory community to drive in-depth understanding of cloud services and customer assurance for regulated markets. Includes providing input regarding the usability of potential new rules, which may be under consideration by regulators.
– Stay ahead of relevant local regulatory and industry trends that impact AWS customers and their use of AWS. Initiate appropriate action and escalate internally as necessary.
