ERP Applications Presales Solutions Engineer (Public Sector role) at Oracle – UAE
Job Description:
- Partner with sales teams across all stages of the sales cycle to articulate the business value of our integrated Financial ERP and EPM Suite.
- Leverage industry knowledge to recommend relevant and innovative solutions that support your customers’ desired outcomes
- Ensure customers’ key business requirements and motivations are fully understood and addressed
- Design, present and articulate Oracle Financials and EPM component to a variety of external and internal stakeholder audiences
- Focus on overcoming obstacles to achieve the customers’ desired outcome
- Stay up to date and increase your skills and knowledge in Financials ERP and EPM solutions and modern demonstration techniques
- Address the competitive landscape and handle objections
- Ensure a smooth handover for a successful customer implementation
- Represent Oracle as a credible expert, providing current and new product information through workshops and at customer or industry events
- Drive the strategic growth of EMEA Applications through an active contribution to the SE community
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent desirable
Relevant Experience:
- 3 years of experience in customer facing pre-sales role on Oracle Financials and EPM Solutions (includes minimum 1 year of pre-sales experience on Financials Cloud, PPM Cloud and EPM Cloud)
- 4 years of experience as implementationconsultant or solution architect in enterprise transformation projects in private sector enterprises
Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
- Understanding of key trends and latest thought leadership in Finance, Accounting and Enterprise Performance Management
- Ability to differentiate the proposed solutions by articulating and communicating the potential benefits case as it related to client situation and operating model
- Experience in soliciting, uncovering and solutioning complex business requirements
- Experience in Finance, Accounting and Performance Management Function is a plus
- Understanding of Oracle’s Cloud strategy and the SaaS marketplace
- Sales methodology knowledge, including processes and disciplines
- Ability to apply technology to drive innovation, experience in utilising design thinking and customer journey mapping a plus
