The Senior Analyst in Supply Chain Performance is responsible for creating reports, charts and dashboards to support Aircraft Maintenance Supply Chain operations. This position will interact with multiple workgroups within the Maintenance and Engineering organization to identify reporting requirements and design reports needed to drive operational activity and chart metrics that are needed to monitor progress or compliance.
The Senior Analyst will be working with a range of relational databases, including Teradata, Oracle and SQL Server, to create reporting data sources through complex SQL queries. Information from these data sources is summarized and manipulated to build reports in Cognos and interactive dashboards in Tableau.
The selected candidate will have an Operations Management mindset. This means he or she will take steps to understand:

- the overall goals of the Maintenance and Engineering Supply Chain
- The factors that impact the organization’s goals
- The organization’s processes and how they contribute to each goal
- The factors that facilitate or hinder each process
- The systems that are used in each process and the database tables that are associated with each system
The selected candidate will use their operational understanding to identify measures and dimensions of interest in operational data sets and will highlight data insights that translate into opportunities for operational improvement. This position is ideal for self-motivated professionals with a serious interest in both Data Analytics and Operations Management.
Specifically, you'll do the following:
- Support the development and implementation of robust IT analytics, business intelligence reporting, dashboards and metrics for supply chain systems
- Analyze, troubleshoot and determine data error root causes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Apply data mining and statistical analysis to understand transactional trends
- Partner with internal departments to support implementation and tracking of process improvements
- Supports supply chain system integration initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Must have an Operations Management mindset and strong critical thinking skills
- 3 years of experience writing complex SQL queries for relational databases such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
- Must have demonstrated proficiency creating dashboards in Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with reporting systems, such as Cognos or SSRS, would be a plus
- Must be able to automate MS Access and Excel using VBA
- The ideal candidate will have basic proficiency in HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript and will be able to perform complex data manipulation using a general purpose programming language, such as Java, C#, Python, or R
- Must have the desire to explore and adopt new data analytics technologies
