  • University degree in Finance (MBA) or equivalent
  • 8-10 years’ experience in retail business in financial role, preferred experience in IKEA business
  • Solid experience of setting goals and KPI’s in retail business
  • Investment analysis
  • Developing & managing BI tools
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint skills
  • Engaging and diverse leadership experiences in various situations
  • Experience in stakeholder and change management
  • Collaborative nature
  • Good written & spoken English

 

About the Role

You will lead AF IKEA’s Regional Financial planning function including budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, KPI management & collaborations with stores, internal departments and retail finance BP&A function.

 

Key Specific Accountabilities:

Reporting & Planning

  • Plan, direct, monitor and analyse the preparation of Strategic Plans, Budgets and (rolling) forecasts
  • Ensure preparation of cohesive and coordinated presentations in regard to the above.
  • Create a proactive and collaborative dynamic with the IKEA Finance managers, store Business Navigators & Retail division finance partners to ensure smooth coordination of financial reporting and analysis 
  • Lead Management reporting functions with respect to Financial and commercial reporting for business
  • Be a proactive driver of continuous improvement

Business & Financial Planning

  • Lead IKEA BI development in collaboration with AF IKEA Regional IT team for business efficiency and informed decision making
  • Centralize and lead business reporting function for AF IKEA
  • Provide market intelligence reports to IKEA management for budgeting and long-term strategic planning
  • Explore & Identify priority needs for the business in regard to ongoing or ad hoc leadership or support in terms of analysis and performance insights
  • Lead New investment analysis for AF IKEA
  • Collaborate and align with Retail and Group BP&A team for financial activities and ensure timely and accurate submission of all required reports
  • Collaborate with regional departments and stores for ROI calculations for activities and CAPEX

Business Development

  • Lead execution of AF IKEA’s payments strategy across the region
  • Play active role in execution of co- marketing activities with AF IKEA’s payment partners in collaboration with Regional Marketing team
  • Lead financial controls in all new store projects for AF IKEA
  • Provide financial and commercial support for all business projects
  • Lead fraud management for AF IKEA’s Digital channels

Human Resources Development

  • Strengthen IKEA’s Business Navigation community and support them to steer their store to achieve business objectives
  • Ensures that the BP&A team members are adequately motivated and professionally trained to deliver high quality output to all areas of the business.
