Job Description:
- The primary focus is to direct, plan, manage and develop a team of Cloud Prime Sales Representatives.
- Adapts and implements our comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle’s opportunities across a subset of Oracle Tech Cloud services directly or via partners mostly to large accounts.
- Manages a team of Autonomous Cloud Representatives for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the region. Develops collaborative working relationships with license, consulting, customer success teams etc., to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with guidance from the LOB leader or VP
- Responsible for hiring winners, on-boarding, coaching, performance management, career development and retaining the team. Ensure teams are successful thru’ coaching, mentoring and sales guidance. Do periodic reviews and effectively manage the unit’s success
- Handles escalations and participates directly in complex situations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, strategy development and trend analysis.
- Manage weekly booking, net new customers, sales hygiene, volume deals and growth in a programmatic approach
- Focus on delivering customer experience and creating delight.
- Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure the team’s objectives are met.
Job Requirements:
Relevant Experience:
- 10+ years sales experience with at least 5 years in management and leading teams
Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
- Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability.
- Has worked with multiple set of customers – could be a combination of geographic, product, industry and market dimensions – selling solutions.
- Value driven : Able to identify real use-cases for Cloud in the customer that drive value for the customers and can lead to rapid expansion of original deals
- Programmatic: Able to industrialize the most promising use cases through customer and persona segmentations, scripts, dedicated demo and execution monitoring
- Lead by example: Able to sit down with one of his sales to call customers for a new use case and show how to catch the attention of the customers and articulate the value of the use case.
- Strong leadership to ensure daily execution of the go to market.
