  • ​This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
  • Responsible for providing test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes. Also, responsible for planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads.
What you'll do
  • Responsible for developing test scripts and test plans to ensure quality test coverage for AA Cargo applications.
  • Plan and manage testing efforts for AA Cargo new and existing development capabilities.
  • Create automated test cases designed to thoroughly test software for client use using Agile Methodology. (Selenium Cucumber framework)
  • Utilize strategic, big-picture quality assurance testing experience to perform duties.
  • Develop and maintain master test plan.
  • Review software requirements and design documentation and discuss requirements with business users to prepare overall strategic test plan.
  • Develop and execute software test plans/cases to identify software problems and their causes.
  • Ensure proper execution of test plans and adherence to quality standards.
  • Determine test environment requirements and ensure readiness for testing.
  • Identify and ensure appropriate test data is available to support testing.
  • Manage Defects and report test results
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the testing team.
  • Work with Squad Leads, Product Analysts, Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, Testers, and upper level management to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of software solutions.
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years of hands-on native SABRE PSS experience
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with test automation

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
  • 8 + years of full Agile & Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
  • 8 years of professional, design, and open-source experience
  • 4 + years of Airline Industry experience
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance and techical testing in the IT industry, plus demonstrated experience in:
    • Air Cargo business knowledge and testing skills in related industry
    • Knowledge of iCargo, mail operations, CGR, Jettainer
    • Using Quality Center/ALM or another comparable test management tool
    • Quick Test Pro (QTP) with VB scription
    • Web Services/SOA testing using CALISA/DevTest Tool
    • Knowledge of MQ and JMS Testing
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Proficiency in automation scripts Development
  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
  • J2EE technologies: Java
  • Knowledge of AS2, EMFT and MQ channels.
  • CA Dev Test, Service virtualization, Selenium: Java & Java Script
  • Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
  • Hand on experience with Relational Databases such as Oracle, MY SQL and SQL Server
  • Experience with EDI messaging, Cargo IMP messages and SOA technologies.
  • Build/deployment tools: Maven, Gradle, Git, Junit
  • Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, Hygeia, Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM
  • Experience in Test Management tools ALM and Project management tools such as Rally, JIRA.
  • Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, Pair programming, Cloud projects
  • Understanding of Mobile web services, emulators.
  • Knowledge of penetration testing and have Certification in Ethical Hacking.
