  • This job is a member of the Data Engineering and Analytics Department within the Technology Division. The role provides the vision and strategic direction for developing analytics solutions in support of the People, Cargo, Finance and B2B analytics teams.
What you'll do
  • Lead and care for team responsible for designing and developing new analytics solutions and enhancing existing solutions.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of all solutions including architecture, development, and operational support of people and B2B analytics solutions
  • Lead, motivate and cultivate a high performing team environment
  • Drives organizational structure, process, and cultural improvements that result in rapid delivery and consistent execution of IT solutions
  • Partners with internal teams and with external vendors to manage system development and maintain system operational standards
  • Manages data engineering teams using Agile, Product, DevOps and DataOps practices to enhance operational efficiencies and accelerate delivery
  • Understand system software architecture to ensure decisions meet long term enterprise data and analytics needs.
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field
  • 7 years of experience with enterprise level analytics and software development
  • 2-3 years of experience leading enterprise level technology teams
  • Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards
  • Extensive knowledge of ETL, analytics and BI programming toolsets used, common data structures and algorithms and best practices.
  • Experience with Azure analytics toolsets (ADF, ADLS, Databricks) and migrations to cloud.
  • Excellent understanding of end-user needs, leading technologies, and applications
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external resources, as well as manage relationships with 3rd party providers and partners

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • Experience in managing, supporting, and delivering 'mission-critical' projects/migrations
    • Experience working with Agile project management methodologies and tools
    • Proven ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and demands efficiently
    • Experience in leading a team of individuals with various levels of skills and experience in potentially high stress and challenging situations
    • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
    • Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices
    • Working knowledge and experience in a technical environment
    • Experience managing financial budgets a plus
