Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **POSITION INFORMATION** Role Summary This Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Alaska Airlines TRAX System by accomplishing routine tasks, interpreting data, problem solving, and tracking TRAX system fixes to resolution. Scope & Complexity With limited direction this role works with the Manager of TRAX Support, Business Leaders and TRAX Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) by administering monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, developing ad hoc reports and responding to TRAX problem reports for Alaska Airlines. Key Duties - Takes initiative to develop solutions to TRAX problems working with Business Leads and SMEs to ensure flight safety and user efficiency - Partners with TRAX help desk to understand issues and report back to SMEs on findings. - Maintain internal and external logs to track modifications, issues, switch changes, security changes and modification requests. - Applies knowledge of TRAX to extract data to support business analysts and SMEs, and present data to leadership. - Review all logs with TRAX Program Manager monthly and report out on metrics quarterly. - Create and help manage TRAX Quick Prints. - Develops new reports or transfer reports from Quick Print to formal report using SSRS or Tableau in connection with the business analytics team. - Coordinates quarterly TRAX system security audits. - Performs monthly Flight audit to identify and resolve discrepancies between the flight operations program and TRAX. Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required - A minimum of 4 years of analytics experience, preference for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) focus. - Client server application architecture knowledge. - Oracle database knowledge and use of ODBC connections. - Expert analytical skills and understanding of analytical processes. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). - Ability to think strategically and see the big picture while understanding the details. - A self-starter, with the ability to work independently and set priorities consistent with departmental goals. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum age of 18. - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred - A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus in aviation management, business administration, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, or a related discipline. - Data analytics background with Statistics and financial fundamentals knowledge.
