- This job is a member of the Information Technology team within the Information Technology Division.
- This position is a senior technical role on a highly skilled and experienced team providing technical application design and leadership services.
- Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand needs and develop solutions according to business requirements
- Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development
- Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions
- Designs, develops, docker images for pod deployments in Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS)
- Designs, develops micro service applications for Microsoft Azure Linux Deployments and AKS
- Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance
- Supports the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines.
- Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3+ years of Microsoft Azure for Linux Deployments with deep understanding of core Microsoft Azure concepts.
- 2+ years of Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS) with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts
- 2+ years of Docker with building, using and publishing Docker images for Kubernetes
- 5+ years of J2EE technologies: Java, Spring, JUnit
- 2+ year of Azure SignalR or similar technologies for server to thin client push like web sockets, long polling, server sent events.
- 3+ years of CI/CD toolchain tools: Jenkins, Nexus, JFrog, Coverity, Fortify, Artifactory, etc
- 2+ years of Microsoft Azure Devops
- 2+ years of monitoring/logging tool: Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Log Analytics
- 3+ years of other tools, build technologies: Maven, Git, Distributed SCM
- 3+ years of DB technologies: NoSQL DBs like Apache Cassandra, Oracle/SQL Server, Query performance tuning
- 3+ years of application/web servers: NGINX, Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server,Pivotal tcServer, Pivotal Web Server, IBM Web Sphere
- 3+ years of Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)
- 3+ years of developing applications with micro services principles.
- 1+ year of API Management technologies: Azure API, Azure Gateway, ApiGee, etc.
- Deep understanding of Security concepts for applications with hands on experience with OAuth2, OIDC, Active Directory
- Proficiency in object-oriented analysis, design techniques, principles, and frameworks
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds
- Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust communication to different work groups on the audience, including non-technical groups
- Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of Linux/Unix Shell Scripting2+ years of Ansible or Terraform
- 2+ years of other OOP language such as Python, C#, Kotlin
- 2+ years of Frontend Technologies and Frameworks: HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, AngularJS/Angular 2+, ReactJS, Sass or LESS,
- 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, using ITIL, Agile, XP, or similar methodologies
