Role Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide assistance to RCM in managing the Revenue Cycle Department of the group and to ensure the company meets the revenue targets.
Job Description:
- Planning
- Source new clients and manage client journey throughout.
- Source new referrals from manager and insurance, manage accounts and corporate packages.
- Introduce new insurance products, packages, health checkups to insurance companies, brokers as well as clients.
- Interacts directly with insurance companies on closure of accounts, handling their gatekeeping clients, constant networking and maintaining the relationship in terms of claims and reconciliation.
- Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and implementing procedures for revenue cycle management.
- Ensures that operating expenses are well within the prescribed limits of budget plans and fiscal guidelines.
- Assist in reducing rejections from insurance companies to be the minimum ratio and ensure the claims submitted are perfect as per the DHA guidelines.
- Provides projections and reports as required, for development and management of budget; produce and analyse monthly reports that assist in the monthly forecast process.
- Compiles and prepares various status reports for management in order to analyse trends and make recommendations. Assist RCM in monitoring timeliness and effectiveness of department activities, ensuring that outstanding patient accounts and accounts receivables is no more than the agreed upon limit and that bad debt is within budgeted target.
- Support RCM in monitoring effectiveness of collection efforts and maintains insurance billings are current within the established time frame specified in the department policy.
- Enhance and standardize our work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle to assist in achieving consistency in maintaining the critical success factors outlined in the Company’s standard operating procedures.
- Performs all of the above responsibilities under the guidance of Revenue Cycle Manager.

- Coordinate regular and periodic meetings with the team, to ensure the Implementation of all Revenue Cycle team plans, programs, and projects strictly adhering to prescribed deadlines and schedules.
- All communications and relevant information pertaining to the team are cascaded to the proper channels within the team in particular, and the organization in general.
- Assist in training and development functions including but not limited to design and delivery of training programs to further enhance and hone the technical competencies of the staff.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Graduate Degree in Management with experience in Healthcare Insurance and Revenue Cycle Management
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role, GCC exposure will be an added advantage
Job-Specific Skills:
Have knowledge to undertake the below mentioned multidisciplinary tasks;
- ICD/CPT/DRG
- Excellent relationship with all major insurance companies.
- Revenue Cycle process
- Customer relations
- Overall clinic operations
