DC Aviation/Aviation Security Officer
What we do ...
We manage, operate, maintain and service business jets owned by third parties and provide VIP passenger services – all to the highest level of standard both internally and externally. We work collaboratively as a team accepting responsibility for our role in the team and contributing towards the success of our business.
What you do ...
The Aviation Security Officer is the nominated Post Holder and Company point of contact on security with the GCAA, Police, Customs, Immigration, and other government authorities. In addition, they are responsible for the following:
• Safeguarding Aviation Security Policies of the business.
• Planning and executing all activities regarding aviation security and to coordinate this with the related departments and external service providers.
• Representing the company in the framework of the duties for security-related matters.
• Maintaining security procedures according to national authorities.
• Supervision of the security installations of the facilities and the designated parking areas.
• Coordination and administration of the parking area and the key management for the hangar.
• Updating of security policies in accordance with International Governmental requirements.
• Initiate special security measures during periods or incidents of increased threats.
• Monitoring the quality of the security measures being applied throughout the DC Aviation Al-Futtaim LLC network by regular evaluation and inspections and by encouraging internal security training courses.
• Assist in the investigation of criminal activity and malpractice when needed.
• Responsible for all security-related passes involving entry to and from the facility including airside. •
Ensuring that aviation security instructions are given for all employees of the company as well as security training according to CAR OPS 1.1240 (Training, if necessary, will be provided).
What you need ...
As per UAE GCAA regulation, the Aviation Security Officer Manager must be UAE National Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
• Successful attendance of AVSEC 1 & 2 training course (DCAF will provide training)
• High School Certificate
• Valid unrestricted UAE driver’s license essential
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
