Regional Sales & Range Analyst | IKEA | Dubai, UAE

 

About The Role

 

Deliver relevant information and insights to service office and store sales teams to support in securing all financial year strategic turnover, quantity and margin goals through development and analysis of weekly, monthly, tertial (4 months), bi-yearly and yearly KPI’s. Enable sales and range team to effectively manage and price the range by providing reports with valuable insights as per the business needs.

Give direction for the yearly pricing process for catalogue year by providing historical data. Manage price uploads for normal range as well as promotions/offers/loyalty program and maintain related performance follow ups that highlight opportunities to improve performance.

 

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

BUSINESS NAVIGATION

  • Support all stores in driving sales and identifying potentials by providing Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, tertial (every 4 months) and yearly KPI’s in relation to sales, margin, volume, visitation, average transaction value, conversion etc…
  • Provide support to service office sales range management by providing information as per the business requirement
  • Deliver follow up reports on business calendar activities for all stores to ensure alignment with business calendar goals
  • Create and monitor markdown budgets in coordination with stores to ensure all offers, promotions and IKEA Family offers are in line with 4 launches and the business direction.
  • Responsible for follow up reports on business calendar activities, promotions, and offers to measure performance and identify future potentials in relation to strategies, forecasting and product selection
  • Deliver key reports to sales leaders as well as collate and summarize the annual pricing exercise (GPS – gross profit simulation)

 

About You

 

Education:

  • High School/Trade School Graduate

 

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
  • Working experience in large data management, Carry out analysis and assessment on the sales & activities performance & give insights for improvement areas,
  • Active / super user for BI reports
  • Ability to conduct trainings for new applications related to sales reports.       
  • Strategic Planning and Analytical Skills, Effective Communication, Excel competence.    
  • Numeracy and computer (Excel) literacy and analytical skills                  

 

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

  • Professional working knowledge on MS office, MS Navision, Bi reports, advanced excel knowledge

 

Communication skills:

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to build working relationships
  • Must be able to speak and understand English & Arabic advantage
