Overview of the role


You will coordinate all legal documentation pertaining to retail project delivery including design, fit out, procurement and government authority permitting. 


What you will do

 

  • Coordinate with head of design / design managers on Letter of Intent (LOI) and Design Contract creation and issuance for signatures both with internal Al Futtaim Brand related approvals and external 3rd party service providers as per the approval DOA for Retail and the Retail Brands
  • Align all necessary legal documents with AF Group Legal on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with the Al Futtaim legal structure and guidelines on approvals and investment assurances
  • Coordinate with head of delivery / project managers on Letter of Intent (LOI) and Fit Out Contract creation and issuance for signatures both with internal Al Futtaim Brand related approvals and external 3rd party service providers as per the approval DOA for Retail and the Retail Brands
  • Align all necessary legal documents with Group Legal on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with the Al Futtaim legal structure and guidelines on approvals and investment assurances
  • Coordinate 3rd party final account statement reconciliation against originally issued fit out contract and its terms, in alignment with RSD quantity surveyor and Head of project delivery
  • Prepare and coordinate all SRF (Special Request Form – Group Procurement) approval flow for all design / project related special approval requests
  • Archive and maintain a central data base with regards to all Legal documentation both physical copies and soft copies
  • Coordinate all requirements on Arabic Translations for Documents pertaining to projects in external GCC territories

 

Required Skills to be successful

 

  • Formal qualification in Business Administration, Legal Documentation in the construction industry. Working knowledge of project administration, legal administration, office management
  • Minimum 5 years working in a construction / interior fit out environment either from the contractor or client’s side. Previous experience in legal documentation for the construction / Retail fit out industry
  • Clear communication skills with a good command of English/ Arabic both spoken and written
  • Focus and committed to ensure accuracy in documentation management and the communication thereof both internally and externally 
  • Excellent time management through a self-driven approach to achieve deadlines
