  • This job is a key member of the Inflight Experience Team within the Customer/Commercial organization. The Inflight Experience team focuses on creating a world class seamless travel experience through development of its range of entertainment and connectivity products and strategies.
  • Responsible for driving cross-departmental efforts across a variety of functional areas in pursuit of Customer Experience objectives.

What you'll do

  • Identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience for Lounge & Ground, offset costs and drive revenue through strategic partner relationships 
  • Supports Customer Product partnership initiatives including development of execution plans, integrated timelines, managing project deliverables and timely completion of tactical implementations 
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders such as Brand, Loyalty and Global Engagement to ensure clear communication and transparency, gain alignment of initiatives and drive execution 
  • Supports relationship with advertising partners including troubleshooting IT issues, modeling/forecasting revenue, and marketing asset allocation  
  • Manages strategy, negotiations and relationships with partners with the objective of creating points of product differentiation and revenue opportunity and/or cost savings 
  • Manages marketing assets with 3rd parties for lounge microsite/landing page (lounge.aa.com) and other lounge assets
  • Supports existing partnership relationships and identify/drive new opportunities for customer experience enhancing partnerships 
  • Develops and delivers presentations for business cases and recommendations on key initiatives to Management
  • Tracks, reports and analyzes partnership revenue streams, financial trends and benchmarking and develops forecasting for partner related initiatives 
  • Prepares decision documentation and approval requests for Management
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Global Engagement in generating awareness of new partnerships and services through internal and external channels
  • Collaborates with Premium Guest Services, IT and other internal stakeholders to ensure internal readiness for new partnership launches

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years related experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Motivated individual with a high personal standard of excellence who can work independently to drive for results
  • Financial and analytical skills with an aptitude for understanding the business, working with and pulling data, developing detailed logical analysis, and solving problems creatively
  • A strategic thinker that excels at thinking outside-the-box, while always keeping the customer’s needs in mind
  • Ability to think quickly and handle a variety of projects concurrently, while staying cool under pressure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with packaging and presentation experience
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, i.e.)
